Navigation Workflow
Here are some packaages associated with navigating your files.
Treemacs
A file and project explorer. It shows the file system outlines of your projects in a simple tree layout allowing quick navigation and exploration, while also possessing basic file management utilities.
- treemacs: Initialize treemacs
- treemacs-create-dir: create directory
- treemacs-delete-dir: delete directory
- treemacs-move-dir: move directory
- treemacs-create-file: create file
- treemacs-delete-file: delete file
- treemacs-move-file: move file
- treemacs-copy-relative-path-at-point: copies relative path to file
- treemacs-copy-absolute-path-at-point: copies absolute path to file
Helm
- helm-find-files: Recursively find files whose names are matched by pattern
- helm-show-kill-ring: Show a list of previously copied text
Projectile
A project interaction library for Emacs. Its goal is to provide a nice set of features operating on a project level.
NOTE projects are automatically detected if it contains some special files (i.e. .git)
- projectile-kill-buffers: Kill project buffers
Helm-projectile
- helm-projectile-switch-project: Switch to a project you have visited before
- helm-projectile-find-file: Use projectile with Helm for finding files in project
- helm-projectile-recentf: Show a list of recently visited files in a project.
- helm-projectile-switch-buffer: Use projectile with Helm for finding files in project
